Why does Knowledge come after Goodness in the scripture passage? Because we must first seek to adopt the character of God before we are ready to add knowledge. Knowledge itself “puffs up,” it inflates, it is arrogant. Knowledge after Goodness, however, is tempered by God’s growing character inside of you.
